Just bought this lodge cast iron a month ago... Am I doing something wrong?  I season it like the directions say so but everyone else's looks so smooth  and shiny and mine

So I decided that I'm gonna “just keep seasoning it” in stead of “just cook  with it”. You know, for science. This is my pan after 8 coats. I'll keep  seasoning it
